Digital Leaders

Mere Green Digital Leaders are a democratically elected ‘iPad champions’. As part of being a digital leader, members of the group coach other pupils in their class, and across school, in the effective use of technology to enhance learning. In addition, Digital Leaders will host lunchtime ‘drop-in sessions’ to offer support to children in using a range of software and applications.

Being a ‘Leader’ is a key skill of our digital ambassadors. Not only will they support children, but also teachers and practitioners who visit Mere Green Primary School for events hosted at our Apple Regional Training Centre and as an Apple Distinguished School.

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is committed to keeping our students safe, both in school and the wider community. As part of our safeguarding arrangements, we have a two-way information sharing agreement in place with the local police authority. The agreement is compliant with Crime & Disorder Act 1998 (s.115) and Data Protection Act 1998(s.29.3; s.35.2.), and focuses on preventing young people from becoming involved or further involved in crime and anti-social behaviour as a victim or offender.
